OnePlus 11 Review

30 Jul 2023

The OnePlus 11 appears to be an odd amalgamation of the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T from last year. It has a few notable downgrades when compared to the Pro, but it offers a significant upgrade when compared to the 10T. For instance, the OnePlus 11 is currently furnished with a third-age LTPO OLED show with help for Dolby Vision and a 120Hz invigorate rate. It likewise knocks up the goal to QHD+.

Of course, all of those pixels are being handled by the newest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is combined with up to 16GB of RAM. The photography department also receives a significant improvement, with the ultrawide camera now having a 48MP sensor and the 2x telephoto camera having a large 32MP sensor. Additionally, the Hasselblad Colour Calibration is now available on the 11, although it wasn't on the 10T from the previous year. The alert slider is also back, oh yeah!

Remote charging is off the menu this year, however we get 100W quick charging wherever besides in the US where it's 80W, which is in any case a welcome redesign in the two business sectors. In just 25 minutes, it should charge the battery from empty to full.

Other notable features include Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos-optimized speakers, and improved cooling hardware. This should make it possible to play mobile games and enjoy immersive multimedia on the go. Naturally, we put it to the test on the pages that follow, so be sure to read them all to find out if the 2018 OnePlus phone is worth your money.

OnePlus 11 Unboxing:

The OnePlus 11 is packaged in a typical OnePlus large, red box that includes all the regular accessories, including user manuals, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and the proper 100W charger. It's interesting to note that the OnePlus 10 Pro from a year ago included a USB-C to USB-C cable, but OnePlus claimed that after receiving user input, they opted to convert back to USB-A because the majority of outlets and PCs still support the older standard, allowing customers greater flexibility. This time, there is no protective case. Customers from China alone are given one extra case.

OnePlus 11 Design:

Although the OnePlus 11's appearance is relatively similar to that of last year's flagship, there are some distinct differences, notably in the form of the camera bulge. The island that transitions into the side frame used to be square-like but is now circular and has a stainless steel hump that has been chromed over underneath the camera ring. The remainder of the back plate is uncluttered and understated. We can kind of see the similarity between old sports cars and Swiss timepieces, as claimed by OnePlus.

All areas receive the identical versions of the OnePlus 11, despite the fact that this wasn't made explicit during the device's Chinese debut. This year, the OnePlus 11 also receives an official IP64 rating. But in India, the phone is said to have IP54-equivalent defence against water and dust.

OnePlus 11 review: mainstream hero | Stuff

Overall, it appears that OnePlus has made mostly small design tweaks. It adheres to the typical design fads from the last few of years, and OnePlus has managed to make this large smartphone feel thin and light in the hand—a difficult feat. You must determine whether the camera bump on the back is more aesthetically pleasant than the blocky component from the previous year. This feature is highly subjective.
