Video - Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone drops into Dubai

The Gitex Shopper consumer IT and electronics sales extravaganza will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre on October 5-12.

The new Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone dropped into Dubai from the sky ahead of it's Middle East debut at Dubai's Gitex Shopper on Saturday.

7DAYS skydived over Palm Jumeirah with representatives from Nokia for an airdrop of the first consignment of phones on Tuesday.

Daredevils with the smartphone mounted on their headgear snapped these stunning images of the drop.
