if you've already downloaded iOS 7 — Apple's latest mobile software update — it probably feels like you have a brand new device (and you didn't even have to go out and buy one).
Just like with any new software, you've likely encountered a few kinks or new features that drive you crazy, such as slower battery life or how to find internal search. A Tumblr account calledSloppy UI even curates complaints from users across the web.
Although parts of iOS 7 still need some smoothing out, there is so much to love about the biggest change to iOS since the original iPhone.
Below, take a look at our favorite aspects of iOS 7 so far:
1. The Overall Look
As soon as iOS 7 launches on your device, you'll notice a huge change. So much is different, from the colors and font to how it feels as you swipe through pages and open apps. It's cleaner, sleeker and just about every nook and cranny in the whole house has been renovated.
2. The Control Center
It might be tricky to find at first, but Apple's new Control Center makes life so much easier. It essentially serves as a hub for everything you'd want to access quickly, from switching to Airplane mode to turning Wi-Fi on and off to adjusting the display brightness. It's also the new home for the calculator, the alarm clock and volume/playback controls for music. To access the Control Center, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to view. You can even access the Control Center when the lock screen is on.
3. Lock Screen
Speaking of the lock screen, is it possible to love something so simple? Not only is it beautifully designed, you no longer accidentally hit "Emergency" anymore.
