Announced by Nokia in mid-May, the brand new Lumia 925 is now available for purchase – although only in Germany for the moment. The handset will be released pretty soon in other European markets, as well as in Asia and the US.
Nokia doesn’t mention the price the 925 is offered for, but most German retailers are asking €599 for an unlocked unit.
The Lumia 925 is Nokia’s second high-end Windows Phone 8 handset introduced this year – after the Lumia 928(launched by Verizon last month). It features an 8MP PureView rear camera, an aluminum body, a 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ display, LTE connectivity, Nokia Glance Screen (which includes “a beta version of a long anticipated feature, the clock on the standby screen”), dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB (or 32GB on some models) of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 2,000 mAh battery.
