LG has sent out invites to media organisations for the launch of an unnamed device on August 7 this year in New York. Now analysts are predicting it to be the mysterious Optimus G2 whose alleged specifications have been doing the rounds on web for quite some time.
As reported earlier, the LG Optimus G2 is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragonprocessor. This chipset houses latest Krait 400 quad core processor with clock speed of up to 2.3GHz. It also supports asynchronous computing which allows only the required number of cores to be activated depending on the need of the task, reducing the battery consumption. The phone is expected to have Adreno 330 GPU. The chipset will also support ultra HD display with resolution up to 2560 x 2048 pixels.
