Taipei, June 11 (CNA) Taiwan's HTC Corp. launched a dual-mode version of its new HTC One smartphone in its home market Tuesday, hoping to sustain the popular model's strong sales momentum.
The "HTC One dual" supports both the mainstream Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) network and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) cellular connectivity, enabling two SIM cards to be active at the same time.
It has similar specifications to the international version of the new HTC One -- a 4.7-inch full-HD display, a 1.7-gigahertz quad-core chipset and a 32-gigabyte built-in memory -- but packs a micro-SD card slot for up to 64GB of extra storage.
