Expanding its Xperia range of gadgets, Sony India launched the Xperia Tablet Z last week at Rs 46,990.
The tablet will be available across all Sony centres and major electronic stores across India.

Performance
The performance of the tablet will not disappoint you. With a powerful snapdragon processor, Sony Xperia Tablet Z boasts of delivering phenomenal performance. The tablet Snapdragon S4 pro 1.5 GHz Quadcore A15 processor and uses the next generation Krait Technology. As per the company it is the first tablet to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro asynchronous quad-core processor. The tablet runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is upgradable to 4.2.
Display
The tablet sports a 10.1 inch 1920X1200p WUXGA display with a mobile Bravia Engine 2. Other dispay modes that makes the tablet notice worthy is its screenshot Capturing, wide colour gamut, wake up mode, pinch-to-zoom, multi-touch (upto 10 fingers supported), gesture input. The tablet also includes Sony's One-Touch function that lets users transfer content seamlessly from HD tablet to TV, tablet to speaker or phone to tablet just by touching them together.
