As the smartphone market heats up to way past boiling point, manufacturers have moved the action from the specs of the phone to adorning the phone with special materials that will make the user stand out.

In the bling ring, the phone market has zoomed into Dubai to lay out the most dazzling of its hardware.

Samsung has now announced the launch of limited edition Swarovski crystal cover for the Note 3. The limited edition covers are priced at $299 (Dh1,098) and will be available in three colours  - jet (black), a custom blend of crystal bermuda blue and crystal metallic light gold, and crystal metallic silver.
