Apples mega iPhone vs Samsungs Note 3: Phablet-sized battle brewing

Reports indicate that Apple could release a 5.7-inch phablet-sized iPhone to take on the Note 3

The smartphone war between Samsung and Apple is set to intensify in 2014 with Apple trying to hit back at the South Korean company with a larger iPhone.

Reports indicate that Apple could release the 5.7-inch phablet-sized iPhone in an effort to take on the Note 3.

The 5.7-inch  Galaxy Note 3 can be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, 3GB RAM, 16 MP camera, 3200 mAh battery. Do not forget the S Pen.

It is expected that Apple will first release the 5.7-inch iPhone, sometime in May, well ahead of the iPhone 6 launch.

Specs-wise not many details have been revealed about the phablet-sized iPhone except that it could be powered by the faster A7 processor.
